Note: You MUST have a student number and your own email address to sign up. Students cannot share the same email address. If you have taken the class before, I may have put your number on the last card I gave you. It's an 8-digit number and it looks like this: 1234-1234. Class details:
1) Class Cost: $190.00 per student. Includes a full Tri-Tip lunch. (Sorry for the increase. All of my costs have gone up.)
2) This class will be held at the Morgan Hill Masonic Hall located at 380 W Dunne Ave, Morgan Hill, CA 95037
There is plenty of parking.
3) Class starts at 8:30AM. 8 hour class.
4) This is the class required to be taught by Calfire and the USFS effective July 1, 2018 and is mandatory for any contractor that desires to work with Calfire or USFS with hired equipment on or near the fireline or at an emergency incident. CALFIRE & USFS BOTH RECOGNIZE THIS COURSE AS MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ANNUAL SAFETY CLASS.
NOTE: Get your training number NOW. Then take the class. After the class, you MUST log-in to the California Fire Training System online to print your card. Instructors are no longer able to issue cards.
5) Designed For: Hired vendors working with CAL FIRE or USFS on any active wildland fire, including water tender operators, dozer and heavy equipment operators, transport drivers, crew bus drivers, pickup or utility vehicle drivers, fallers, swampers, and anyone else working on an emergency incident.
Description:
This course provides an awareness of fireline safety to hired vendors who plan to engage in wildland fire suppression and other incident support activities. Topics include current safety training, relevant policy and procedures, how to recognize and mitigate risk, and maintain safe and effective practices while working under agency supervision on an incident. Upon successful completion of training, participants will receive a course completion card valid for one (1) year from date of issue. NOTE: The class location may change subject to class size and room availability. We will keep you updated if we move the location. Please be sure to give us good contact info when you sign up so that we can keep you informed.

Certification: Current CDF/USFS Operator card issued Expiration: Card is valid for one (1) year from date of training.

Refund Policy Fireline Training will gladly refund class fees with the following restrictions: If a class cancellation request is made within 24 hours of payment OR at least 2 weeks prior to the class, the entire fee will be refunded minus a $10.00 admin fee. If a class cancellation request is made less than 2 weeks prior to the class, 75% of the class fees will be refunded minus a $10.00 admin fee. For a cancellation request less than 48 hours from the scheduled beginning of class, no refunds are available.
